Credit card purchases in supermarket will have many items under different categories. Now when entering have to split the bill and checking with statements quite tedious
It would be nice to be able to split transactions since some may pertain to multiple categories or tags. Additionally being able to log paychecks with gross income in addition to expenses such as taxes and deductions.
When I go to a shopping center I buy different items of different categories together and they’re all billed together. I also use only one credit card to make the payment. When I enter all these items into MoneyCoach, I enter them as separate items for their relevant category. What I want MoneyCoach to allow is to group this one shopping bill together so I only have to add the ONE bill for all these items, even though they belong to separate categories. This way even MoneyCoach can save their server space because they won’t have to save the bill pictures for each item.

I would like to see the feature that I can separate a transaction and define that i.e. 40 euro from 100 euro worth transaction is for Food and other is i.e. gift or something else. So far I have been separating it as two transactions, which I find complicated and double work.

It would be great if we could itemize the categories of a transaction. Currently it is really inconvenient to add a transaction that includes subtotals that belong to different categories. F.e. when I buy something online for a total of 100€:
50€ Tech Item
20€ Make Up
30€ Writing materials
then I would want to add this as one transaction as this is how it would be deducted from my card. I would however also need to set different categories for the subtotals/items that make up the total transaction amount.

This is a very necessary feature. Even more so if you want to connect the account automatically. There are purchases that may contain products from various categories, and if you want to carry out a detailed study of expenses, it is essential to be able to allocate each category its corresponding portion of the expense. Will this be included in upcoming updates?

Multiple categories in a transaction
