Transaction templates

Would it be possible to create transaction templates that can be used on a regular bases without making these transactions reoccurring? There is a need to create repeating transactions that are not necessarily linked to a date. This will allow the flexibility to recreate transactions although they may not be reoccurring on a particular schedule. This would be an additional feature to scheduled transactions.
